Other pics of the house

Here are some pics from the front. This is our basement foundation, but you can kind of get an idea about the front of the house.

Our new niece and cousin!

We headed to Nashville this past Saturday to visit our new niece and cousin, Jada Rose Parrish. She was born April 9 and weighed 7lbs 12 oz. Clay and Amanda are so proud of her and she is a very good baby. Mason was so taken with her that he wouldn't let anyone else hold her. He kept saying that she thought he was her brother that's why she wasn't crying. Hayden didn't know what to think as you can see in the picture. We wish them all well. It won't be long before Mason will be able to hold a baby for as long as he wants to! 15 weeks and counting!

Update on house

Well, as you can see in the pictures, we have a basement or at least the outside of one. They are busy framing the inside and then they will start on the outside framing. We are starting to actually see some resemblance to a house even if it is from the back.

It's a.....

BOY!!! Can you believe it?! I'm going to have my hands full with 3 boys. We are so excited that God is blessing us with another boy. He looked healthy and weighs about a lb. I'm glad God has so much confidence in my boy rearing. We are due August 13, but I've already scheduled my induction for 8/8/08(Friday). How cool is that date?

I ran what will probably be my last race(5K) this past Saturday at 21.5 weeks. I did well considering I'm carrying a little extra weight. It's a smaller race. I came in 2nd female overall and 1st in my age group. All the other women(and men) thought it was so unfair that they got beat by a pregnant person. I still plan on running, but my competitiveness will have to take a back seat until September.

More digging

Well, they got rained out last Thursday and Friday, but they are setting the molds today. Hopefully, they can pour the foundation tomorrow.

Progress on house

Before they started digging

Monday-Mason getting into the action.

Mason and Hayden helping.

I can't believe it, but they started digging yesterday and plan on pouring the basement at the end of the week. It's crazy that we just got our plans a week ago and the building has already begun. I also included a picture of Hayden insisting on wearing a sleeper over his t-shirt yesterday. Can you say uncomfortable?
