Snow Day!!

Well, I'm not sure if I should really call it a snow day, but we did have a little of it outside this morning and our deck was covered, so the boys couldn't wait to go outside to check it out. Hayden picked some up and tried eating it and quickly discovered it was cold and wanted it out of his mouth and off of his gloves. Mason wanted me to build him a snowman, so I tried and ended up with a 9" snowman that wouldn't stay together because the snow wouldn't pack, but he was happy none the less. I was glad after 30 minutes of playing on the deck they were ready to come inside. Later in the morning, Mason dyed our Easter eggs and decorated our Easter tree. Hayden kept himself busy in his highchair coloring.

Guess What???

OK, so as you can tell from the signs, we are having another baby in August. Can't you tell Hayden is thrilled? I'll be 15 weeks on Wednesday and so far this has been the easiest pregnancy. Mason is excited that another 'dinosaur' will be joining our family, but is a little disappointed that it won't be hatching from an egg. I feel great! In fact, I ran a 10K this past Saturday(14.5 wks pregnant) and came in 1st in my age group. I plan on running as long as I can. My heart rate monitor is quickly becoming my friend!

Tattoo's

Mason and Hayden received some tattoo's for Valentine's Day and boy do they love them. Hayden walks around the house pulling his shirt off ready to show everyone his tattoo's. We are a little worried that he likes them too much! I've also included a picture of Mason after putting together his dinosaur puzzle. He was so proud!

Pics from Weekend

Here they are!

Weekend update

We had a busy weekend. Friday night, Larry and I decided to get away and headed to the cabin in Gatlinburg. Saturday night, we took the boys to the Demolition Derby. As you can see from the pictures, it looks really, really messy, but oh so fun. Six to eight cars go into a big pit and try to ram into each other until there is 1 car left running. The boys loved it and it's something that I've come to look forward to every year. Sunday night, we went over to a friend's house for the SuperBowl. What a game! It's the first game I ever remember watching. I'll post pics when I can.
